He explores intelligence tests and ethnic profiling and "hindsight bias" and why it was that everyone in Silicon Valley once tripped over themselves to hire the same college graduate.

有人說其“作者文筆流暢，描述生動，讀這本書是一種輕鬆的享受”，我怎麼覺得到處都是廣告快詞無謂廢話，難看得不得瞭。

讀過《Tipping point》和《Outlier》這兩本書的話，就不必再讀這本瞭。馬叔畢竟是從廣告行業發跡，寫作風格和主題可以概括為 “意料之外，情理之中”，總是很能吸引人眼球就是瞭。整部書裏我個人認為值得一讀的隻有兩章：The Talent myth: are smart people overrated? 可以對麥肯锡選拔評價人纔的標準做少許瞭解。 The New boy network: what do job interview really tell us? 在海外讀書的同學們可以瞭解一下老外麵試的套路，即structured interview 的標準問題和一些標準答案。雖然我覺得發明這些問題的人真的是很反人性瞭。
