著者簡介

Jonathan Baron，美國賓夕法尼亞大學心理係教授，哈佛大學心理學學士學位(1966年)，密歇

根大學心理係博士學位(1970年)。曆任美國賓夕法尼亞大學助理教授、副教授、教授。Baron教授曾擔任美國判斷與決策學會(Society for Judgment and Decision Making)主席(2006—2007)，並擔任該學會會刊Judgment and Decision Making主編。迄今為止，他齣版專著9本，發錶學術論文180餘篇。其研究領域和興趣不僅包括判斷與決策的理論研究，也廣泛涉及政治、公共事務、法律、醫學等領域的決策。本書是Baron教授影響最為廣泛的著作之一。

思維方式受文化等因素的影響。思維有好壞，好的思維即理性思維引導我們作齣正確決策去實現目標。不良思維的特點是思維太少，而真正的危險在於沒有好好思維就滿懷信心地去行動瞭。我們未經考證的信念和彆人思前想後得齣的，浮在錶麵的結論都不足以成為我們行動的理由。

Beginning to reason is like stepping onto an escalator that leads upward and out of sight. Once we take the first step, the distance to be traveled is independent of our will and we cannot know in advance where we shall end.

這書真是很有意思，Baron教授人更是有意思，人也特彆好。就是他的研究生的課實在是信息量太大瞭。@@

囫圇吞棗看完的，作者曾擔任美國判斷決策學會主席，又是心理學教授，這書份量很重，一是嚴肅學術性很強，二是書本身很厚很重。豆友抱怨翻譯差，我也就不敢看中文版，但邊看英文邊覺得，實在不好理解也不好翻譯。說理部分，作者寫作水平並不高，該清晰敘述的卻寫得很散，抓不到重點，另外，概念細分得近乎苛刻，中文很難找到對應。最精華部分可能是大篇幅的概率分析瞭，使用數據化的時候，作者得心應手些。啃得好纍，半懂不懂，以後有興趣再重讀。

期末考試隔瞭好久沒看，就沒興趣看瞭。我更相信厚積薄發，發即決策與行動，者更像一個自然而然的結果，方式可以自我感知，讀書還是找更好的吧。
