在薄荷閱讀上讀完瞭The Painted Veil 的英文版，麵紗算是我接觸比較早的毛姆老師作品瞭，帶著他特有的喪感，人物慘到底，但結尾還是覺醒瞭一點希望。比起月亮與六便士和人生的枷鎖，應該還不算太毛姆。

這個是有多麼的美麗！這裏探討的大概是愛吧。
