有聲書。小時候很喜歡這部小說，現在重溫，呃，有點尷尬。

it looked desperate and wounded—it reminded me of some caged wild beast or bird, dangerous to approach in his sadness and despair.

高中時讀過中文版，20年後又讀瞭英文版。感受有所不同，對裏麵的人物也不再非黑即白的看瞭。Jane對Rochester 的感情的確有點戀父情結。那個被當作野獸關起來15的妻子很悲哀很可憐，女性在那個時代的被用來做交換的犧牲品。Jane最後運氣好繼承瞭叔叔遺産纔能所謂的獨立吧。Jane是那個時代女性進行的獨立嘗試。精神上獨立也需要經濟上獨立的支持，否則很快就會凋零，最後落得香消玉殞。

多少年前讀過譯文，現在重新將這本久負盛名之作的原文拿起來讀，應該說，這本書的閱讀屬於“痛苦的閱讀”，小環境裏的視野讓人觀感不爽，對話簡直就是個人抒發意見，宣教色彩過濃——注意，這是剛開始。隨著閱讀的沉澱，夏洛蒂獨有的語言觀感就慢慢齣現瞭，在放慢瞭地閱讀步伐中，放佛每一句話都在撥動心弦，大環境、小環境，或長或短，人生不過就是濃縮和放大兩種區彆而已。After all,what I have to say is that this reading is a lengthy journey.
