评分Goodreads 7.64分。读之前不知道本书的作者就是写了《相约星期二》和《你在天堂里遇见的五个人》的那位……有关时间和人生的小小寓言，发现被归类为“inspirational fiction”（励志小说）。语言还是简单而美的，所以道理和情节就不太重要啦，读完感觉心境又能稍微平和一些了。P.S. 这本对待宗教的态度比较放松，对于神秘上帝的存在也没那么强调，所以比起The Alchemist读起来没什么负担。
评分简明易懂地讲了三个人的故事，让读者个中体会关于时间的种种。听的第一本Dan Stevens朗读的书。
评分挺无聊的这书，值得说的只有一段话：yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late.A dog does not check its watch.Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures the time. Men alone chimes the hour. And because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.
评分Not as good as his other novels. Or maybe it's kind of repeating the seem kind of cliche of his previous novels.
