看的large print版，手感和视觉效果不是很好…anyway, "it's not the pain I miss, but the lost chance of final forgiveness." I won't regard this book as a feminist outcry, it's more like, when you look back on life, you'll fill up all the black blanks yet you feel emptier than ever. "Never pray for justice, because you might get some."

我其实蛮不喜欢“女性视角”这个标签的，好像女性看东西就和男性有什么本质区别一样。这只是讲述一个其实不怎么feminine的人被放置在女性的环境中的成长故事。女性恰恰是作者努力逃避的标签，从最一开始的小学的传统女性到后面的女性主义标签。这种对于小团体的恐惧，这种时时刻刻需要blend in进入某种特定身份的恐惧才是她要避开的。而最后的cordelia的心结其实还是在说，我们对于别人的meanness其实反映的是自己的恐惧。题外话，画家作为一种艺术家真的相比作家来说对自己作品的诠释空间更小，也对自己的作品更没有诠释的意义上的掌控力。

前十章非常intensive，读得透不过气。（我觉得我小时候受过的bully不比她少，不过极端情绪都在青春期发泄出来了...然后就没能变成艺术家?= =）
