迈克尔•坎宁安（1952-）

美国当代著名作家。

目前在耶鲁大学担任创造性写作课程教授。

1990出版《末世之家》，受到广泛赞誉。

1995年获得怀廷作家奖。

1998年作品《时时刻刻》获得巨大成功，登上《纽约时报》畅销书榜，同时获得普利策奖和笔会/福克纳奖，并被改编成同名电影，妮可•基德曼凭借该部影片摘得第75届奥斯卡最佳女主角奖。

1999年获得欧•亨利短篇小说奖。

2005年作品《试验年代》同样备受好评。

2011年作品《夜幕降临》长居《洛杉矶时报》畅销书榜。

读《末世之家》的过程并不像《质数的孤独》那样顺利，那样带给我微小、却悲伤到澎湃难以抑制的感情。我甚至是在意识的反复清醒与失重中进行完这场漫长而又疲惫的旅行。也许是因为两者虽然同样写爱与孤独，同样采用了不同者以第一人称叙述视角的写法，但相比于《质数的孤独》...
