Most stories in this collection bored me to tears. Zero-tolerance with its overly detailed yet banal depictions of women’s psychology, especially with their obscure, bizarre, and quite naive fling/crush/fascination/affection towards cruel/rude/egotistic/cowardly male figures. Such a depressing book.

呃翻齣來發現早差不多讀完80% 但都不記得什麼故事瞭。。

第一篇To reach Japan好. 門羅的文字有種獨特新鮮的味道。喜歡。(這是剛看瞭一兩篇的感覺)。看完之後，驚奇，為什麼一位84歲的加拿大女作傢的作品會直接進到我的心裏？果然有些東西是沒有界限的。沒錯過這本，真幸運。

2015.5.25-2015.7.29看得有點纍，很多地方讀得不明所以。故事太平淡瞭，還是比較喜歡戲劇化一些的敘事。

喜欢上门罗，始于《逃离》。第一读，却是台北时报出版的,叫《出走》，作家翻成“孟若”，听起来怪怪的。大陆译成“门罗”，听起来也怪怪的，脚着像个男人名字，因为从小就听提到门罗主义，就是那个总统大人。题外话一句。在家的女人，为什么要出走？这不是文学奖门罗回答的，...

昨天刚入手看了不到半本，不可置疑的这是一本好书，就是翻译的太生硬了，甚至有些可以猜的出原文。感觉买原版用Google翻译一下效果也差不多。也没找着其他的版本，买书时的那种兴奋感全无，只能凑合着看了。
