评分很有启发的一本入门书，粗浅地讲解了围绕女权的十几个话题，从来由、发展、历史，到不足、误解和未来的方向。很适合对女权很好奇却又缺乏系统知识的人（比如我）看。虽然Bell Hooks主要讨论的还是西方的女权主义，像她自己说的，不能在非西方国家克隆似地推广不符合当地情况的解决办法，但我还是觉得有很大部分的一致性，毕竟patriarchy导致的问题都差不多。不足之处是引用了很多她自己以前写的东西，并且举例的来源不够多，但是瑕不掩瑜，还是很喜欢。
