评分這麼多的research還能如此有條不紊的寫下來。不愧是西方中國史研究的開山鼻祖。行文間的詞語運用給我種強烈的standardized的感覺。

评分費正清寫瞭一句概括中國曆史最深刻的話：Never have so few ruled for so long over so many. 整本書對古代史的敘述比較簡單粗略，最精彩的是清末明初的章節，49年以後的敘述更多，缺少精彩的分析。Goldmann添加的兩章長篇大段敘述，比較囉嗦，沒有什麼特彆齣彩的內容，像是高鶚在續《紅樓夢》。
评分中譯本，讀史明心。
