著者简介

吉塞拉·波克曾任欧洲大学学院、比勒费尔德大学、柏林自由大学历史学教授。1987—1989年曾任欧洲大学学院欧洲文化研究中心主任。著有《托马索·坎佩内拉：政治利益与哲学思辨》《美国的另一种工人运动，1905—1922》《欧洲历史中的女性》等。

昆廷·斯金纳思想史家、历史学家，剑桥学派奠基人之一。曾任剑桥大学政治科学教授、剑桥大学现代史钦定讲座教授，2008年至今任伦敦大学玛丽女王学院巴伯·博蒙特人文科学教授。著有《近代政治思想的基础》《自由主义之前的自由》《霍布斯与共和主义自由》等。
