关于家庭内「分工」的很好的微观研究。对于今天的「母职」研究有很强的启发。ARH的强项是很能够engage读者，诚挚又不乏分析性的情感。我对这个研究的问题依然是：在一个解释性的框架下能否有一个关于家庭内部分工（以及这种分工同外部世界）的一般性框架。经济学家的框架虽然简单粗暴，却依然是一个有一致性的解释体系。《第二班》里的现象虽然我读起来非常有带入感（感谢作者的写作是如此契合我的生活经验），解释力却不行。

很扎实的一个研究，通俗，可读性强。就算明白了婚姻中的权力关系与家务分配的本质，可还是想要一头扎进去。
