以知名幼儿教师Vivian Paley的「讲故事」方法为起点，用杜威和维谷斯基教育理论来作为框架。这本很好的体现出「理论结合实践」有多么难，Paley自己的教学、演讲和写作都很生动，但是要学术化起来，就变的很晦涩。难点在于要把实用主义的理念和发展心理学揉到一个框架下。其实书里内容不错，但很显然作者没这功力把以上两个流派之间搭个桥梁。
