著者簡介

村上春樹（1949- ），日本小說傢。曾在早稻田大學文學部戲劇科就讀。1979年，他的第一部小說《聽風之歌》問世後，即被搬上瞭銀幕。隨後，他的優秀作品《1973年的彈子球》、《尋羊冒險記》、《挪威的森林》等相繼發錶。他的創作不受傳統拘束，構思新奇，行文瀟灑自在，而又不流於庸俗淺薄。尤其是在刻畫人的孤獨無奈方麵更有特色，他沒有把這種情緒寫成負的東西，而是通過內心的心智性操作使之升華為一種優雅的格調，一種樂在其中的境界，以此來為讀者，尤其是生活在城市裏的人們提供瞭一種生活模式或生命的體驗。

No matter how sappy Murakami gets, I will never get tired of him. Kafka on the Shore is an archetypical novel, but also a very modern one. It's about how one becomes brave and becomes themselves, accepting the dull truth of the world, while not losing interest. I am so sad to say goodbye to it.

始讀於十月虛無的小長假，終於趕在鼕日到來前看完，村上君用雙綫敘事的結構，創造齣一個屬於隱喻的世界，再佐以形形色色的人，展開緩緩敘述。無論是“責任始自夢想”的決絕，抑或是“無須思考且聽風吟”的躲避，甚至是“成為世界一部分”的勇氣，描摹齣世界的無理與荒謬。好在最後的結尾頗為溫情，尚有一種超脫的希望。遙想我初閱此書時還不及田村卡夫卡君的年紀，等恍惚明白時，又早已喪失成為世界toughest少年的機會，可於字裏行間之中，還能得到些許慰藉，使我頗為自足，仿佛如海邊拾貝的少年，一眼望去，總也看不見盡頭。

這個英文版還是很好讀的。不爽的是國內買居然更便宜！！
