He did research at the University of London and was influenced by the famous mathematician George Polya at Stanford University. Stewart is currently Professor of Mathematics at McMaster University, and his research field is harmonic analysis. 短评里写不下了。。。极限的严格定义在第十章才出现，因为在第四章时的严格定义被删了，不知道是不是为了配合国内的教学进度。。关于删减内容的内容没有删掉，就像阉割没割干净一样。。。用来入个门还是可以的，但还是要读其他的一些书来补上删减的内容。。。删除了定积分...
