A necessary book for cancer researchers. To keep update of the modern conception of cancer research, one need also to read the two review papers written by Douglas Hanahan and Robert Weinberg under the title of "hallmarks of cancer", published in 2000 and 2011.

对于一般学生来说，看看也很好但是，作为研究者来说，这部书代表现在肿瘤教科书的经典，建议看原版，因为翻译得很差，可见国内学者的态度有问题。很多地方，一看就知道是软件翻译的。另外，这部书有国内教科书所缺少的逻辑性和思考性。

一定要读原版，我的中文版放在一边备查。读了本书与自己相关的章节，大约一半。主要感想是 1. Weinberg 知识面非常之广，理解也很深刻，老爷子毕生思想不辍，才能有这样的深度和广度。 2. 每个章节的逻辑性非常强，段与段之间的关系能够很容易follow。
