Philip W. Jackson(1929 2015)was the David Lee Shillinglaw Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Education and Psychology and in the College at the University of Chicago. 在我看來，這是最值得國內譯介的教育學名作之一。傑剋遜確實很好地解答瞭一個問題，為什麼孩子們都那麼乖，那麼溫順。因為無處不在的隱性課程就像一種鬆散的權力結構，不斷規訓著學生的日常生活。這種規訓，就是一個孩子無可避免的社會化。

課堂教學的經典著作，“隱性課程”概念的齣處。分析部分都很精彩，尤其是最後一章，太牛掰瞭！

與原先的想象有點不一樣。覺得第一章和第四章討論學生與教師課堂生活的製度化這兩點比較有意思。結尾章討論到learning theory 和teaching的匹配問題，算是迴應瞭教學領域裏很富有爭議性的核心問題吧
