【都说这个译本好，我觉得有点拗口……果然英语还是不过关……】试图用“理性说服必然”来解释宇宙万物的生成。人，作为有朽和不朽的暂时结合，只能认识有形、可感、变化的事物，即按照自己的构造来认识事物；而对于永恒生命和receptacle，永远无法获得清醒的知识。如果肉体是灵魂的坟墓，我们所能做的，只是关心自己不朽的那一部分，通过理性的苦行，以期灵魂能重返在天上的家，重获永恒和幸福。柏拉图和秘教的关系真是千丝万缕喵……&我完全没把注意力放在宇宙论上。。。。。
