著者簡介

林恩·H·尼古拉斯（Lynn H. Nicholas）生於美國康涅狄格州新倫敦，先後求學於美國、英國和西班牙，在牛津大學獲得學士學位。返迴美國後，她在美國國傢藝術館供職數年。在她於20世紀80年代早期旅居比利時時，她開始本書的研究工作。本書是尼古拉斯的處女作，她的作品還包括《殘酷世界：納粹網絡裏的歐洲兒童》（Cruel World: The Children of Europe in the Nazi Web，2005）。尼古拉斯曾獲法國“榮譽軍團勛章”和波蘭“波蘭之友”稱號。她還擔任在藝術品返還審判和美國國會中的專傢證人。
