翻譯非常厲害，韻律節奏很帶感，語句也很好讀懂。（這名字跟編的似的）這本書哲學感比神學感強，邏輯很分明。

奧古斯丁的很多神學見解成為瞭後世基督信仰的基礎。從這本自傳裏可以看齣他很多見解的根源。比如奧古斯丁認識到作為小孩的自己並不是純潔無暇的，反倒是經常以作惡為樂，這可能直接影響到他後來對原罪的理解。另外，在讀的過程中由於經常心生同感，經常忘瞭本書成於五世紀初，距今已有一韆六百年瞭。
