著者簡介

理查德•M•西爾特(Richard Cyert) ，1962-1972年擔任卡內基•梅隆大學（Carnegie Mellon University）工業管理研究生院的院長，並在1972-1990年擔任該校校長。他現在擔任卡內基•梅隆大學的經濟學和管理學教授，並任卡內基?博施研究所（Camegie Bosch Institute）的所長。

詹姆斯·馬奇(James March)齣生於1916年，1953年獲得耶魯大學博士學位，以後在卡耐基工藝學院任教。1964年擔任加州大學社會科學院的首任院長，1970年成為斯坦福大學的管理學教授，同時也擔任政治學、社會學、教育學教授，是名副其實的多領域大師。馬奇被公認為是過去50年來，在組織決策研究領域最有貢獻的學者之一，他在組織、決策和領導力等領域都頗有建樹。
