著者简介

理查德•M•西尔特(Richard Cyert) ，1962-1972年担任卡内基•梅隆大学（Carnegie Mellon University）工业管理研究生院的院长，并在1972-1990年担任该校校长。他现在担任卡内基•梅隆大学的经济学和管理学教授，并任卡内基?博施研究所（Camegie Bosch Institute）的所长。

詹姆斯·马奇(James March)出生于1916年，1953年获得耶鲁大学博士学位，以后在卡耐基工艺学院任教。1964年担任加州大学社会科学院的首任院长，1970年成为斯坦福大学的管理学教授，同时也担任政治学、社会学、教育学教授，是名副其实的多领域大师。马奇被公认为是过去50年来，在组织决策研究领域最有贡献的学者之一，他在组织、决策和领导力等领域都颇有建树。
