最後一章是篇极棒的短篇。

比Ford Madox Ford容易接受得多的行文。难忘Sordo在面临死亡之际想着：I have never seen a volcano. 叙述风格从一而终但前1/3真的拖沓，后面每一章都比上一章厉害，整体来看还是很完美的作品 // 比wings of the dove好看多了！
