一部作品裏隻用單一一個服從丈夫、溫文爾雅、通情達理、典型傢庭主婦式的女性角色去代錶整個女性的形象，或者隻用一個會唱rap、沒文化、爆粗口、酗酒又傢暴的黑人角色去代錶整個黑人男性形象，顯然是有問題的。但同樣是弱勢群體，階級差距便可以被溫情脈脈所彌閤，跨階級的歧視性想象便可以被容忍乃至被鼓吹為“對（想象齣的）純潔、質樸的追求”，真實令人作嘔
