Frank Luna has been programming interactive 3D graphics for more than ten years and has been using DirectX since v5. He is the author of three bestselling books on DirectX and has professionally worked on 3D medical imaging software, machine motion simulation tools, mobile games, and architectural design software, all using Direct3D. 国内没有中译本,当时狂热,借助谷歌翻译,用了近两年时间译完了这本书。可惜的是,译完后害怕了,难度太高,没有再学习。

个人认为这是目前国内引进的最好的一本介绍 DirectX 9 的书。各种概念讲解得非常清晰,尤其是其C++的用法非常地道(应该是我看过的第一本真正用“C++的方式”来写C++的同类书籍)。原书在国外的评价也很高,这次中文版由清华引进,“令人意外的”翻译得也很不错。推荐!

读完龙书已两年,细节已忘,不做 DirectX Low-level 引擎开发。 恰逢一小友问起学习游戏开发的书籍资料,便想起此书。 最开始按 Clayman 的 游戏程序员养成计划 学习游戏编程,第一本便是此书(简称 龙书)。现在反思,那篇文章标题应为《游戏引擎程序员养成计划》,而自己内心...

各方面的介绍都比较全面。但缺乏结合硬件流程对流水线的介绍, 总的来说做为游戏编程的d3d入门不错
