海明威的情感文字化之後可以說是相當剋製——除瞭十分主觀地being mean還嘴硬說是honest，可見他對幾位好友的贊美和寬容多麼來之不易（白眼）。寫初見菲茨傑拉德的那篇真的不錯，整體來講也非常喜歡這本書勾畫的巴黎，不枉莎士比亞書店宰我12歐瞭。

如此的一段生活，有力氣對抗飢餓，交很多朋友，愛憎分明，敢於做夢，清醒凜冽色彩分明的日子，讓他老年的時候還記得清晰的，很難說是巴黎還是年輕本身。關於海明威和哈德莉，我隻能說讀完心情很復雜，我不希望做他們中的任何一個。
