历史不长，史记不短（望天

读的17版，学美国史目前最佳的向导性和框架性的书是这本（中英文都包括），SAT2和APUSH公认的最佳书目（前提是备考时间充裕），书中历史观点非常扎实（细部会有学术性的再批评），别看是教科书，里面有相当的内容中文都未曾引入翻译介绍，维基中文也多半没有。本书配图（地理配图和人物）尤其丰富——这对初学者理解历史因果颇为重要，比那些只讲文本的教科书强很多，大大有助于建构历史想象。

当年备考apush的时候看的书很厚很详细文笔太好用词太浮夸以至于我觉得作者有卖弄的嫌疑但是真的是最喜欢看的书什么时候只要连续不断看一个小时就能立刻静下心来现状第二遍看想为SAT做准备
