雖然論文寫的很爛，還是強推這本T-T，關於美國新墨西哥州Española Valley地區高比率海洛因使用的醫學/心理人類學民族誌，作者認為這種流行病般的毒癮使用，並不僅僅是個體的經驗，而需要放在當地的文化及曆史語境、尤其是西班牙社區土地被剝奪的曆史中理解；而傢庭成員對於海洛因的分享、母親帶女兒一同吸毒現象，似乎延續瞭心理人類學對於ethics的討論；作者還對醫療機構對毒癮的“慢性病化”處理，以及國傢權利的撤齣進行瞭批評；雖然在理論討論上略顯不統一（其實隻是我看不懂= =），不過故事本身就夠豐富好看瞭，分析的部分也很有美感（當然學術價值還無力評判，個人讀得很開心啦~）
