畫傢，倫敦藝術大學魯特斯坦•霍普金斯基金繪畫研究教授。1990年當選為牛津大學拉斯金繪畫學院院長，1998年當選為倫敦皇傢藝術學會成員。自1977年開始一直從事美術教育工作。主要著作有《藝術通史》《有生之年非看不可的1001幅繪畫》《501位大藝術傢》《現代藝術指南》等。官方網站：stephenfarthing.com

又是一部古往今來一本全的掃盲大書。每幅給齣的圖片都有細部詳盡解析，個人目測質量不錯。

再見瞭，您嘞！（背書背到懷疑人生????）無法理解cubism，primitivism。。。。（對我來說無法理解的style還挺多的）欣賞Baroque時期的Gentileschi,被Rococo的美好氣氛打動，愛，性，和諧，旅行，浪漫，美好。。。。喜歡French academic art和realism。看懂American realism，並與其思想主旨産生共鳴。Impressionism在我眼中很特彆，未完成的畫作一樣的存在。僅僅喜歡Symbolism裏的the scream，期待Art Nouveau裏Mucha的齣場，可惜隻是一筆帶過????。以此評論記住Tiffany，她是一位極好的老師，非常在乎學生的感受，非常的有耐心，非常的善於探索教學方式並引領學生，她真的是一位極好的老師????????
