著者简介

保罗·奥斯特（Paul Auster，1947—），生于新泽西州的纽渥克市。在哥伦比亚大学念英文暨比较文学系，并获同校硕士学位。

奥斯特于1990年获美国文学与艺术学院颁发“莫顿·道文·萨伯奖”，1991年以《机缘乐章》获国际笔会福克纳文学奖提名，1993年以《巨兽》获法国麦迪西文学大奖，2006年10月获颁阿斯图里亚斯王子文学奖。作品除了小说《月宫》、《纽约三部曲》、《幻影书》、《神谕之夜》、《密室中的旅行》等，还包括回忆录《孤独及其所创造的》、评论集《饥渴的艺术》及诗集《烟灭》。他的作品已被译成三十多种语言。

在文学创作之外，奥斯特也热衷于电影剧本写作并曾独立执导电影。目前与妻儿定居于纽约布鲁克林区。

說實話我挺吃驚的，這是第一次讀Paul Auster的原文，以前覺得很喜歡他的文風，英文讀下來完全不對路，語言顯啰嗦，而且Paul像是心理咨詢師一樣對筆下人物絮絮叨叨分析個遍，整體非常cheesy，只有說最開始的一段是吸引我的。

这是看的第二本Paul Auster小说，第一本是Moon Palace, 看完惊艳，怀着高期望值读Sunset Park, 结果失望了。
