忽然想起来这是我读过的第一本英文原著小说，不过也是先看了电影而后在中关村图书大厦买了原版进口的小说！经典就是经典！

Although it properly includes seemingly forbidden issues like crimes, sex, betrayals and cheating, this is a great book that depicts a real world, THE world. 四星半吧，开宗立派的作品，扣半星是因为太啰嗦了，为了让读者看得轻松所以事无巨细解释每一个行为的动机每一个人的想法，当然不这么写的话群众基础不会这么好。虽然整本书里写了很多大事件，但是印象最深刻还是Michael半夜去医院探望遇刺的父亲发现医院里一个他们的人都没有，这段太经典了，读者的心整个揪起。看到Michael娶Apollonia时忍不住骂一句狗男人。Puzo真的很恨好莱坞，尤其是女明星，简直没一句好话。序里提到Puzo本来想好好学学写剧本的，结果买了本教材一开篇就说教父是世上最伟大的剧本之一（也是他第一次写的剧本），然后他想那应该就不用学了吧。不知道我是不是唯一一个在看了新扎师妹二十遍以后才反应过来吴彦祖的角色就是照着Michael写的人。
