著者简介

Keith E. Stanovich is Emeritus Professor of Applied Psychology and Human Development at the University of Toronto and former Canada Research Chair of Applied Cognitive Science. He is the author of over 200 scientific articles and seven books. He received his BA degree in psychology from Ohio State University in 1973 and his PhD in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1977.

I opened the book in hope that it will address my confusion about various personality tests in magazines. But, it really is a book on scientific methodology and why it is important in psychology. The book does not bore you with mechanistic details, it is well-argued, clearly written and supported by literature. I'm not slightly disappointed.

像极了小媳妇儿一遍遍的说自己其实是很好的~不过是个很讲道理的小媳妇儿。在她一遍遍的劝说下我也对psy多了一点信心呢！其实该是入门的必读物的~前面几章带到点该如何的理解和对待science也蛮好的~
