Sally Rooney was born in 1991 and lives in Dublin. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, Granta, The White Review, The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly, Kevin Barry's Stonecutter and The Winter Page anthology. Her debut novel, Conversations with Friends, was the most popular debut in the 2017 end-of-year round-ups. Rooney was shortlisted for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award for 'Mr Salary' and was the winner of the Sunday Times/PFD Young Writer of the Year Award.

雖然有些地方還是slow瞭點 但的確屬於那種細膩到讓人想起青春期的書 兩個人的關係仿佛有自己的生命 不過還是更喜歡conversation with friends 感覺那一本更開闊些 人物也更豐滿
评分有些失望，大概覺得並不是那麼相通，雖然和男主主角有很多共同之處。甚至有些幼稚…大學生不懂事。（…
评分個人感覺不如《聊天記錄》。時常無法判斷女主和男主之間的距離到底是因為女主的“作”還是因為階級，也就是說不知道drama的部分是不是為瞭drama而drama。
评分我宣布我正式為Sally的粉絲，更喜歡Conversation with Friends，但是這本也很喜歡，雖然讀的時候感覺有點緻鬱，但是欲罷不能。兩本書中的人物也確實都有許多相似的地方，比如不擅長直接錶達自己的情緒、熱愛文學、擅長寫作、還有Sally本身自己就喜歡的辯論也總是齣現在主角身上。喜歡Connell，但是如果我身邊有這樣說話說一半的人我可能會被氣死。很喜歡結局的處理。“生活肯定會繼續過，但是你已經變得更好瞭，我也是。”的這種感覺，我反正不信這兩個人會因為異地一年就把自己從對方的生活裏撇去。另，好想看Sally寫純erotic小說啊！！！肯定很好看。
评分一齣相愛相殺的狗血言情連續劇，但讀起來卻異常舒服。
