Sewell, "Space in contentious politics:" 空間不是抗爭活動的容器。通過諸如位置性、共存、尺度、時空距離、生活路徑、建成環境和意義賦予等方式，空間積極地參與著抗爭的整個過程，同時也被抗爭行動所改造和重塑。作者對空間概念的把握很全麵也很紮實，引用瞭到那時為止做得比較好的地理學傢的著述，同時跟抗爭政治自身的主流文獻做瞭很好的結閤（4月27號的TAM和1789-94年的巴黎從不同角度和尺度論證瞭空間的重要性），值得閱讀和學習。
