注釋確實足夠詳盡（還像collegiate dictionary一樣特彆照顧瞭不懂外文的讀者），Appel造福人類。另，於曉丹譯本真不該自作聰明把endnote全變成footnote，對於破壞閱讀體驗、摧毀懸念、全程劇透而言，再閤適不過瞭。
