有理有据，最喜欢关于meritocracy trap的部分。在现在的工作生活中对于女性的歧视也是处处可见，比如同样的工作同样的response，女生就更容易被人觉得aggressive，而女生being aggressive也更容易拿差评。总体来说因为性别歧视、男人是default的人，而女人只是一种例外，造成女性较男性比更难从政、当公司高管、成为各行业领军人物，而因为女性难以参与管理层，政府在制定法规和企业设计产品时，对女性的关注又是缺席的，导致女性生存环境更艰难，以至于更难以成功，成为一个vicious circle。读了这本书你就可以明白，女性别说是特权了，连基本人权都没保障（比如医生看病时更容易忽略女性的疼痛），女权之路道阻且长啊。

Blinkist扫过。心脏病仪器、药物反应、弹钢琴的手的尺寸、手机的大小、瑞典大街扫雪的顺序、汽车测试的人偶、车费的计算方式（单程/距离）、印度公共女厕而导致的人身安全问题……之前并没有意识到这么多问题其实都是背后设计逻辑有明显的性别忽视。这是一个有意思而且有意义的话题。女性的平等对待真的不仅仅是个纸面意识形态的问题，严重地说，当50%的人口最日常的一些需求（哪怕是基于最纯粹的生理构造上的区别，不参杂任何文化社会因素）都不能被流程化系统化地考虑和顾及到，我们人类的文明建设真的还是漫漫长路。

这本书让我意识到有一点以前没看到或者想到到的：有关男女平等，现状常见的是让女人变得像男人一样，而不是改变政策、决策等来考虑女人的不同。受益匪浅。此书的缺点是，在数据上和举例上地理范围太大。有些国家男女极其不平等的例子对另一些国家没有借鉴意义。

真的是非常好的一本书，把看不见的gender inequality全部摆在桌面上来讲了。看完后厌世度又翻了几倍，这是什么几把世界...这种绝望只有女身才能理解。
