姜峯楠的这本科幻小说文集有点《黑镜》的感觉。我最喜欢的是讲穿越的Alchemist's Gate，养成电子宠物的The Lifecycle of Software Objects，记录回忆的The Truth of Fact/the Truth of Feeling，还有鹦鹉写的The Great Silence。最后一篇我原来去年在亚洲文化协会的《寻林觅趣》展览读过，波多黎各艺术家拍摄雨林中的鹦鹉，以及Arecibo天文台，探讨动物灭绝和科技的关系，字幕正是姜的这篇The Great Silence。“It's no coincidence that 'aspiration' means both hope and breathing...I speak, therefore I am."

评分太好看了。中文版题目翻译的不好，不是呼吸，应该是大喘气，只呼了没吸。

评分Exhalation 本来就是我最喜欢姜老师的一篇，后面两篇翁法洛斯和焦虑是自由的眩晕是新篇，太期待了才买了原版来看，物超所值。姜老师的语言一如既往地理性，逻辑性也极强，因为那种详实的感受让故事背景可信。每一篇当中对社会人性的讨论都有有许多有趣的点，有的点感觉单独拿出来就能写一个短篇
