仍旧是朵卡萩擅长的碎片化写作，但已找不回数年前初读《太古》时的惊艳感。在文字的珍奇柜中，朵卡萩探索了两种形式的旅行：一种是动态的向外的宏观的运动，另一种则是静态的向内的探索，其既可借助解剖学，亦可借助心理学。"解剖"是此书的重要内容，留存尸体的行为，不论是溶液浸泡还是塑化，看似fetishism及necrophilia，其实都是为了盗取造物者的神性，接近凡人所不能及的永恒和不朽。书名Bieguni来自书中的同名章节，它妙就妙在传达了宗教的神秘特性。英译Flights虽则一词双关，但缺少了Bieguni所传达的"奔逃"（biegac）的负重感。
