在战争成因上有瑕疵，没有看到中央银行制度在动员这么大规模兵力和集中全国资源方面的作用，把它们归因于民族主义和爱国主义，不太妥当。不过战争的描述和战争的收尾方面的历史证据和判断还是很有说服力。美国的参战是一战的决定性因素，也是美国犯下的一个非常大的错误。...
