Science and technology have immense authority and influence in our society, yet their working remains little understood. A funny book! My favorite part is his refutation against the "social studies of science" or "the social construction of technology". The description of a Great Divide between few scientists and the "irrational" mass is also insightful. ============================= Latour早年的STS對我來說尚有可接受可欣賞的地方。
