评分小櫓輕輕就能觸碰我心，感觸頗深，卻找不到閤適的字句描述，可能優秀的藝術就是這樣，引人共鳴的、矛盾的、平靜地訴說著。在欣賞結束的時候，思緒迴蕩在藝術品和藝術傢的背後，就像書封麵的照片一樣，我猜圖片裏是小櫓，想知道想確認，又覺得無所謂，就像說再多的矛盾衝突和蕩氣迴腸，最終還是要度過平平淡淡的日子。

评分3/5 Documenting Guo's bumpy journey toward artistic freedom and spiritual integrity, this book has evoked so much internal conflict within me perhaps due to the deep-seated Chinese values in my psyche. The writing towards the end feels dispassionate and muddled; if Village of Stone is the crystallisation of Guo's literary style, this is a let-down.
