小橹轻轻就能触碰我心，感触颇深，却找不到合适的字句描述，可能优秀的艺术就是这样，引人共鸣的、矛盾的、平静地诉说着。在欣赏结束的时候，思绪回荡在艺术品和艺术家的背后，就像书封面的照片一样，我猜图片里是小橹，想知道想确认，又觉得无所谓，就像说再多的矛盾冲突和荡气回肠，最终还是要度过平平淡淡的日子。
评分3/5 Documenting Guo's bumpy journey toward artistic freedom and spiritual integrity, this book has evoked so much internal conflict within me perhaps due to the deep-seated Chinese values in my psyche. The writing towards the end feels dispassionate and muddled; if Village of Stone is the crystallisation of Guo's literary style, this is a let-down.
