作者简介
薩空了（1907－1988），原名薩音泰，筆名了了、艾秋飆，蒙古族人，出生於四川成都，是中國著名的新聞工作者、文學家和社會活動家。
薩空了於1920年代起從事新聞事業，曾任職於《北京晚報》、《世界日報》等。抗戰爆發後前往香港創辦《立報》並任總編輯。1939年赴新疆任《新疆日報》第一副社長。次年又赴重慶任《新蜀報》總經理。皖南事變後前往香港，任中國民主政團同盟機關報《光明報》總經理。1943年被捕入獄，1945年出獄後，前往香港任《華商報》總經理。1949年在北京出任新成立的《光明日報》秘書長。新中國成立後，薩空了歷任新聞總署副署長、出版總署副署長、民族出版社社長、人民美術出版社社長、全國政協副秘書長等。著有《香港淪陷日記》、《由香港到新疆》、《薩空了文集》，長篇小說《懦夫》、美學專著《科學的藝術概論》，另有新聞學專著《科學的新聞學概論》、譯著《竇德大使日記》、《宣傳心理研究》，等等。
