著者簡介

作者 | 柳原漢雅（Hanya Yanagihara），1974年生於洛杉磯，美籍日裔女作傢。1995年於史密斯女子學院畢業後搬至紐約。2015年開始擔任《紐約時報》旗下時尚雜誌《T》主編。《渺小一生》是她的第二部長篇小說，榮獲科剋斯評論文學奬，入圍布剋奬、美國國傢圖書奬、國際IMPAC都柏林文學奬、橘子小說奬等四項文學大奬決選名單。

譯者|尤傳莉，東吳大學經濟係畢業。譯有《圖書館的故事》《達芬奇密碼》《天使與魔鬼》《火車大劫案》《依然美麗》《當時，上帝是一隻兔子》等。

囉嗦程度和Ayn Rand差不多

晉江起點耽美文風也好，柳原漢雅的亞洲式mean也好，模式化的政治正確也好，但是看到同遊Alhambra那一段，聽著Recuerdos de la Alhambra，隱隱感到the happy years之後將是急轉直下的墜落；看到哈羅德在信中的娓娓道來（實際上是蒼涼獨白），還是忍不住哭瞭

And there are people who love these people but can't live through a single day without agony knowing that they can be of little help. Love cannot heal everything, yet people still want to believe in it.
