《明清民間文化》【在David Johnson“中華帝國晚期的組織、階層和意識”一文中（PP34-72）擬造一種錶現文化程度的層級格式：將中國社會中人們的文化和政治經濟地位氛圍三個等級，因而配齣九種可能，雖流於機械化，但意圖捕捉中國文化觀念的復雜與自覺。主要是針對“大、小傳統”的反思；柏士隱提齣“moral capital”】

评分總算敢標讀過瞭。80年代初的會議論文集，社會文化史研究的標誌性轉嚮，preface和兩篇introduction都很有啓發。影響力最大的文章無疑是Watson的神明的標準化，引發瞭之後Modern China華琛專號以及曆史人類學學刊的一係列迴應文章，將地方信仰與王朝意識形態之間的互動的研究推進到非常深入的水平。整本論文集圍繞著中國文化的分異和統一，也成為後續研究的基本框架。
