评分多雷果然是插画界最大的神，不仅质量高而且异常的高产。他是全部采用用镌刻法来作画的吗？难以置信。《圣经》插画应该是最有他风格的作品，人物身材普遍峻拔瘦削、构图结实庄重，有很强的宿命感。

评分一些人物近景的插图感觉有一些水分，但是对旧约中有关战争的、以及启示录中有关天国的宏大图景的描画的确是文艺复兴之后的巅峰。
