目前读到的关于种族的最好的故事。
评分这本的文笔一般。纳博科夫记得是说过，一流作家let the course of action reveals itself，而不是显山露水地写悲愁（paraphrase, 非原句）。domestic wife + color clashes的题材屡见不鲜吧，读的时候常常想起Denis的chocolat。
