著者簡介

HANNAH ARENDT was born in Hanover, Germany, in 1906, fled to Paris in 1933, and came to the United States after the outbreak of World War II. She was the editorial director of Schocken Books from 1946 to 1948. She taught at Berkeley, Princeton, the University of Chicago, and The New School for Social Research. Among her other books are The Human Condition, On Revolution, and The Life of the Mind. She died in 1975.

（讀的是中文版，豆瓣沒條目，漂流到此地。實在太喜歡阿倫特的文字瞭！）1，過去，老柏說，哲學是遠離政治；現在，老馬說，行動，just do it!過去與未來之間，因“他”（卡夫卡寓意的人）的站立之處而被打斷，成為現在。2，剋爾凱郭爾、老馬、尼采的反傳統深深根植於傳統。3，曆史是用記憶的方式將“有死性”的個體的人易碎的言辭與行動變為書麵文字；哲學傢通過無行、無言到達不朽的鄰近所在。現代，曆史變成一個人造的過程；人在無限時空的世俗中“活動”而不是“信仰”；“無限”的“現代曆史”本身成為瞭不朽。最後，對何為威權與自由、教育與文化危機的討論，對真理與政治、對太空的徵服以及人的地位的討論。

#阿倫特自己曾說這是她最好的一本書因為形式是exercise 重視對概念的辨析語詞的曆史起源。前一半似乎好過後一半特彆是對tradition及其三種失敗的顛覆（馬剋思祁剋果尼采）progress的曆史觀的分析很透徹雖然不熟悉古代史基督教史不好判斷

【藏書閣打卡】因為本書中文版沒有條目，所以我打卡用瞭英文版一本討論瞭很多有意義的東西的隨筆集，處理傳統中的現代斷裂和現代期望用來代替傳統形而上學概念的曆史概念部分看得我頭皮發麻，缺乏基本曆史知識和政治常識不能看這種討論。討論何為權威、何為自由的部分，討論對我來說變成瞭一種常識普及，非常慚愧不能參與作者的討論，關於教育、文化、政治與真理的討論比較貼近現實，很有啓發。

翻过后最有印象的是”Truth and Politics“。阿伦特把真理分成两种，一种是rational truth，大致包括哲学，科学和艺术。另一种是factual truth，事实真理。理性真理是“说出来的”理性知识。柏拉图的洞穴寓言就是一个经典例子。一堆人锁在洞里看石壁上的影子，启蒙者则告诉他们...
