Santiago Ramon y Cajal was a mythic figure in science. Hailed as the father of modern anatomy and neurobiology, he was largely responsible for the modern conception of the brain. 自然科學同人文科學學習的方式應該是一脈相承的。很受啓發的一本書。investigator可以是科學領域的也可以是社會學領域。摘抄瞭很多句段。希望對你也有幫助吧。

讀完後真心被Cajal的人格所打動——不僅僅自身是一位偉大的科學傢，還在青年科學傢上傾注瞭極大的心血，更令人動容的是他濃重的愛國情懷。關於此書，我總結的take-home message是，perseverance和originality是一個科學傢最關鍵的品質。

非常溫暖的一本小書，裏麵的很多建議至今還時不時會在腦海中盤鏇。

哈哈，這本書再一次證明瞭我的想法，原來所有的人都在犯著同樣或者類似的錯誤，都會麵對同樣或者類似的問題，誰能想到一個一百多年前的西班牙老頭能迴答和解決這些問題呢？雖然書的名字叫advice for a young investigator，但是裏麵的內容還是很通識的，除瞭中間有一兩章不適用於我這個專業之外，其他都很有用
