Santiago Ramon y Cajal was a mythic figure in science. Hailed as the father of modern anatomy and neurobiology, he was largely responsible for the modern conception of the brain. Cajal was a pragmatist, aware of the pitfalls of being too idealistic -- and he had a sense of humor, particularly evident in his diagnoses of various stereotypes of eccentric scientists. 早在文理分科之前就该读，读一辈子的书

哈哈，这本书再一次证明了我的想法，原来所有的人都在犯着同样或者类似的错误，都会面对同样或者类似的问题，谁能想到一个一百多年前的西班牙老头能回答和解决这些问题呢？虽然书的名字叫advice for a young investigator，但是里面的内容还是很通识的，除了中间有一两章不适用于我这个专业之外，其他都很有用
